Our Continuing Education (CE) offerings are designed to support the professional development of licensed massage and bodywork therapists. Some CE courses double as Enrichment Courses. Enrichment courses are facilitate the development of those who are not licensed practitioners.
Thai Metta Bodywork Certification Training (36 CEs)

Thai Metta Bodywork (For All/No Prerequisites) is rooted in the energy field of Loving Kindness (Metta) and traditional Thai Massage. This alternative medicine modality is focused on healing the body and elevating the mind and spirit utilizing gravity, physical leveraging, compression techniques, passive stretching, energetic awareness, meditation, and the breath (Life Force). Our trainings are comprehensive and thorough, providing a guided immersive experience into the teachings and practice of Thai Metta Bodywork to assist with physical and beyond physical stress, strain and pain.
The full 52-hour certification (36 hours of 'in class' time and 16 hours of 'at home' practice) training consists of six modules (each module is one full day worth 6 CEs - awaiting NCBTMB approval). Courses can be taken in any order, and can be split up between multiple locations and dates.

REIKI I & II TRAINING (10 CEs)
Learn how to tap into your innate healing abilities to serve yourself, your family, and community. Whether you are seeking to utilize Reiki merely in the privacy of your own home, or you are a healing arts practitioner seeking to expand your service offerings, this dynamic and empowering training is just for you.
“Rei” means ‘universal energy’ and “ki” means ‘life force.’ Reiki is a technique that involves the activation of energy between practitioner to patient to enhance the body’s natural ability to heal itself. The primary components of this training include a study of the history, ethics, principles, and three degrees of Reiki, as well as how to use hands-on Reiki for self-healing, for healing others, distance healing, and the use of Reiki symbols. Additionally, students will learn how to: do energy scans and dry bathing for self-protection, engage in healthy body mechanics, integrate complimentary tools (i.e. crystals/stones, pendulums, meditation . . .), participate in ample hands-on practice, participate in a group Reiki share, and receive Reiki attunements, which help to stimulate students’ innate healing abilities.

MASTER CLASSES
This Master Class sequence explores advanced Thai Metta Bodywork (see description above) and how to become one with the fluidity of the practice. Additionally, the sequence include an advanced study of Reiki Energy Healing (specifically Reiki III Master Teaching).

DEATH DOULA TRAINING
The trajectory of our Memento Mori Death Doula Training explores dying and death in three primary modules: The Impact of Dying and Death (spiritual, physical, mental, emotional, familial, social, economic); Embodying the Death Doula Way (support role for individualized, non-medical care uniquely suited to the dying person and their family's needs from diagnosis to after death; and utilizing our signature Memento Mori Death Kit.
